It would be interesting to hear if anyone measures bitblt performance before and after these changes on Cog. I suspect that Nicolas' changes may provide an even bigger benefit for Cog than was measured on the interpreter VM.

I am currently at VMMaker.oscog-eem.570 and will stop at 576.
If you have instructions on how to do the performance measurement, I will give it a go.
