Hi,
I've installed squeak on my x86_64 linux but I have some problems :
- during the compilation there are many warnings like :
/home/user/squeak/install/src/svn/squeak-svn_install/platforms/Cross/plugins/Mpeg3Plugin/libmpeg/video/mpeg3video.c:270: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
- and when I'm using squeak it frequently hangs with a segmentation
fault (it hangs every time squeak has to play a sound) : /home/user/squeak/install/src/squeak-svn/platforms/unix/vm-sound-custom/sqUnixCustomSound.c:57 sound_Stop /home/user/squeak/install/src/squeak-svn/platforms/unix/vm-sound-custom/sqUnixCustomSound.c:51 sound_Start /home/user/squeak/install/src/squeak-svn/platforms/unix/vm-sound-custom/sqUnixCustomSound.c:27 sound_AvailableSpace
Segmentation fault

Anybody can help ?
Laurent
These should help:

However, as far as I know the mpeg plugin has not yet received any attention on 64 bit unix, so it probably does not work. The sqUnixCustomSound.c file is part of the unix VM (not the mpeg plugin), so it may have issues also.
