Hi Ned I have the impression that I was working on a system that did not include you fix with the archive or gzip. Could you check the file I sent with the fix I made and the new protocol (following your suggestion Now we have the fullname of the file and not the prefix (I'm thinking that I should give both the fullname and the suffix this would have avoided that all the tools have to extract the suffix from the file) because I quickly tried to understand what was my mistake but I did not get it. Apparently I'm confusing archive and zip Stef

This is in fact the most probable reason. What is your platform? I have attached some tests for FileDirectory + some fixes for those tests. Can you run the tests before and after loading the fixes to see if this works on your machine? If they do help, does this fix the original problem too by any chance? If they do not help, can you alter the fixes to make the tests pass? Henrik

In fact the correct fix is the previous version (!) so you can revert to the original version. I will include it in my next batch of fixes. Henrik

I think that we had this discussion 25 years ago: In these these there was this quarrel about translating LOGO into your own language, because all these English words were an extra hurdle for children,... In the meantime children on the streets handled words like SUPERCALIFRAGILOUSCUMEXPIALIDOCIOUS (I know, mispelled, plastic memeory..) Makes me think of another wisdom: make a system idiot-proof and only idiots will use it. We could agree about a token-system to categorize things on the mail for easier find and storage. (OT for off topic etc... Who will remember that it started as English..)

State of the RefactoringBrowser

Hi all, after playing with the RefactoringBrowser in VisualWorks (great!) I tried the Squeak version. I downloaded Version 12 from SCAN and started to try it out. I couldn't find the undo functionality. Is it missing? Running the Unit-tests gave me: 608 run, 336 passed, 15 failed, 257 errors (latest update: #4653) Do I have to prepare the test environment, or is this the "correct" rate? Cheers, felix

TextMorph events

Can anyone say what the best way of getting a TextMorph to work as a hypertext link (not web related) is. Is there a trick? I haven't managed to override the default event successfully. Thanks! Gary

Also, you are not guaranteed to get zeroed pages.
