Today I talked about this history of Smalltalk and Smalltalk hardware. the Self VM and the OpenSmalltalk VM at the meeting about the J Extension (dynamic languages) for the RISC-V standard. Since the last part is about OpenSmalltalk I thought some people here might be interested. The slides are in OpenOffice (6.5MB) and PDF (2.3MB) formats, but two of the slides are a bit messed up in PDF due to the lack of animation.
