Hello,
I would like to trace (as in using SystemTracer2) a non-Spur image into a new Spur image. Can you tell me which packages/classes I need or what the procedure is, please? I have not been lucky searching for something like a SpurSystemTracer yet...
Best regards, Jakob
Hi Jakob,
it doesn't use SystemTracer, it uses SpurBootstrap in the Cog package and needs VMMaker.oscog. See http://www.mirandabanda.org/cogblog/build-image/ and the buildspurimage.sh script in the image directory the page mentions.

So there is currently no way to 'trace' a Spur image? Just askin'

Not that I know of. It would require some work to modify the tracer to generate such an image. Quite possible but non-trivial.
Just askin'
