FWIW, here's the 4.1 I got from Deep Into Smalltalk in 2011 that runs the Bochs simulator (on a Mac). I saw Eliot make it work. When I ran the code at the time in the Workspace on the right, I think it only got as far as 'redirecting object pointers'. Now it throws a primitiveNewCPU failed error, while trying to instantiate BochsIA32Alien class>>new. That aside, it may be illustrative for somebody.

you need a Boch plugin to run this code. This plugin is not shipped with VMs built by Jenkins server. Not sure about Eliot's builds.
