Hello, reported two bugs Version 4.5-13671: 0007809: turning off bigDisplay preference does not return to the previous display settings. 0007810: Cursor is positioned improperly for the underscore character '_'(asciiValue 95) Using default preferences paste the string '__________________________________' in workspace, and press End key. Cursor is positioned improperly for the underscore character '_'(asciiValue 95)Bitmap DejaVu Sans, all font sizes. . regards, Vaidotas

Squeak 4.5 Release Candidate 4 (13675)

Hi, I am new to squeak and smalltalk, but I noticed the 4.5 release notes mention a "System space analysis" feature/function. However when I try it, I consistently crash the virtual machine with a segmentation fault. I have tried both on a Raspberry Pi with the latest version of the virtual machine and on 64 bit Slackware 14.1 with version 4.10.2.2614 from slackbuilds.org. So I assume it is not a VM problem. The complete output from the command line is: bash-4.2$ squeak Squeak4.5-13675.image CHECKING cogvm which: no cogvm in (/usr/bin:/bin) CHECKING squeakvm Segmentation fault 17254592 Behavior>new Segmentation fault Michael

Debugger: Unused instVars

Hi, there! :) I just discovered some instance variables that seem to be unused in Squeak/Morphic: failedProject isolationHead Then, there is some state that seems to be accessed in a useless way: externalInterrupt proceedValue (see screenshot attached) Finally, there are some eToys-specific value holders in addition to the SystemWindow, which stores that anyway: labelString message I did not look further into it but stumbled across those things. RC5 on Wednesday

So we've uncovered a couple of issues wiht RC4, one with the Space Analysis function and the other in InstallerInternetBased. If interested parties care enough about these issues for 4.5 release, please make your corrections to trunk by Tuesday and I will make a RC5 on Wednesday. But we won't delay releasing for only these two isolated issues. Still on for next weekend.

Status of SqueakSSL on SqueakSource

Hi All, Has it been officially decided to add me to the SqueakSSL squeaksource repository? I would like to add our changes to the repo and leave it on squeaksource. I can’t do that unless I’m given access to the repository. If it has been decided but we haven’t had time yet, that is fine with me. If there is still a question can we make the decision please?
