Probably safer would be to just force a #primitiveFail in UnixOSProcessPlugin>>primitiveForkSqueakWithoutSigHandler, and let the tests fail.
Does an ordinary fork-and-exec (not forkSqueak) work? For example does UnixProcessTestCase>>testRunCommand pass?
