It might well, but I have no idea if it is freely available for *nix. Acorn of course have/had the Norcroft/CodeMist compiler which is pretty good but probably not available. M$ support ARM under VC++ of course but I _really_ doubt that will run under *nix!

Except that you have to write in Slang. It is certainly a nice complement to Jitter, but not a replacement.

Related to this, would the new compiled method format be able to handle (possibly multiple) native codes in addition to byte codes? This could be handy for the SqueakNOS people too.
