One of the tests: 'testTerminateWithDelayInUnwind' will require a small update of #terminate I'll be sending later today. A process that invokes termination of another process is expected to wait until the terminating process finishes unwinding itself. A delay or yield inside unwind blocks may cause control be handed over to the original process which may be assuming the termination has finished. Strange scheduler bug/behavior

Hi, I've just come across this strange behavior: Try to execute this (Cmd + . will recover the image): p := [] newProcess resume. "p placed in run queue" p suspendedContext: nil. "image freezes" This can easily happen when a process gets preempted between the assignment and the next send. The scheduler apparently tries to run the waiting runnable process which has changed its suspendedContext while waiting in the run queue. I sort of expected the scheduler to disqualify such process but it looks like that's not happening. Changing the suspendedContext while waiting is ok, I guess, as long as the new suspendedContext is a context and most of all is not nil. I suggest a workaround in Kernel-jar.1474: suspendedContext: aContext suspendedContext := aContext ifNil: [self suspend. nil] Is this ok? Thanks, Jaromir -- Jaromír Matas mail(a)jaromir.net

Cause: PasteUpMorph>>#windowEvent: was clearing the preference and then restoring it from state in a WindowHostFocusMorph. However, when #windowDeactivated occurred twice in a row (which happens), it would correctly store #mouseOverForKeyboardFocus in the first WindowHostFocusMorph instance, but then would deactivate and replace that instance with a fresh one, which would then receive the incorrect (false) value of #mouseOverForKeyboardFocus. Later, when the window was activated again, the incorrect value would be restored, because the correct value had already been forgotten (as it was contained in the first, rather than the second-and-current, WindowHostFocusMorph instance). Change: Alter WindowHostFocusMorph>>#active: to not only set the active instvar but to save or restore the #mouseOverForKeyboardFocus preference. This way, any time a WindowHostFocusMorph is activated, the preference is saved, and any time it is deactivated, the preference is restored.
