When reporting VM parameters, enable formatting in the case of a parameter value that is represented as a Float rather than an Integer. This may happen if a VM parameter is defined in units of milliseconds but internally measured to microsecond precision by the VM, in which case the value may be returned as a Float in order to retain full precision. SmalltalkImage>>formatVMParameter: handles the formatting for integer and non-integer values.

ShoutAttribute.cs <http://forum.world.st/file/t372205/ShoutAttribute.cs>
Hi all,
I did not forget this thread here
<http://forum.world.st/The-Trunk-ToolBuilder-Morphic-mt-235-mcz-tp5101984p51…>
, and now I would like to finally present a changeset for an implementation
of the ShoutAttribute.
I'm still not sure whether this is the right name and we should put this
indeed into Shout-Core, so as always I'm open for your ideas. (OT: Should we
maybe introduce a general "Styler" class outside of Shout providing the
abstract protocol? Other classes such as a MarkdownStyler (do we already
have one?) could then derive from it. In particular, this could be also
useful for GraalSqueak ...)
However, try out the changeset or watch it in action:
Best,
Christoph

At the squeak board meeting on Weds we discussed updating the 'Squeak by Example' book in order to have working examples and current screenshots etc. It's a good book in general and would be a useful thing to point new squeakers to with some updating.
The sources are at https://github.com/SquareBracketAssociates/SqueakByExample-english (and there are some translations too) and I see some recent changes by Patrick R (thanks!) mentioned in my email. Personally I'd appreciate some advice on what program one might use to edit the stuff. I don't think I can manage LaTEX.
