Here, a string literal contains escape sequences, a little like printf, that allow one to substitute values. Dave's syntax uses square brackets to escape into Smalltalk. recover from lost .changes file

It is easy to recover from a corrupted or accidently deleted image file. But, for the second time in the last year I have accidentally deleted or destroyed my changes file. I do have a copy of it from yesterday, but is there _any_ way to recover my work from today?

RaspberryPi RISC OS Squeak now has actual sound output

I'm sure it seems like a small thing but it's taken me 18 years to get a round tuit and make this stuff work. I haven't got the semaphore signalling version working yet but I can play a Bach fugue for coffee-cup without anything falling over. Playing multi-track midi files seems a bit more of a problem right now and I'm trying to work out WTF is causing that. But Yay!
