We certainly do not want a hard dependency on Monticello classes in the System package, right? Rather than a preference, another solution would be to enable arrow-key movement of the morph, after it's been picked up, to slide it to any position w.r.t. the hand. I decided to implement that -- lo and behold, it already behaves that way! Nothing to do, so this is my solution.
