Hi,
somewhere on the web (I think on Helge Horch's page) I found a strike font called PaloAlto which looks like the original Smalltak-80 font. I made a fontset for this font and would like to share it here.

I filed this in, and replied "yes" to the 'Do you want to install ''PaloAlto'' as default font?' question. Everything hung, and eventually the VM crashed with what I believe is called a stack walkback with "out of memory" at the top. (I've never had this happen before - I guess that I just don't hack hard enough.)
I had the same experience. I thought it might be a 2.7a vs. 2.6 thing, but I tried it in both systems with the same result.

It just occurred to me that Stefan's "FontSetStuff" fileout must be a prerequisite for "FontSetPaloAlto.st".
Since FontSetStuff was done in Squeak 2.6, and since there have been nearly 200 post-2.6 updates published in 2.7a, and since some of those updates affect fonts and styles in substantial ways, my guess is that there is a high probability that Stefan's FontSet fileouts will not work in 2.7a without some tweaking.
So I suggest that anyone wishing to try out the PaloAlto font do so in 2.6.

Andrew, Scott,
It just occurred to me that Stefan's "FontSetStuff" fileout must be a prerequisite for "FontSetPaloAlto.st".
That's right. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear.
But I just checked my stuff with a 2.7a [#1726] image and it still works for me with one exception: You cannot easily install the new font as default. Now, there're a couple of preferences settings you have to find and all manually change from NewYork or Comic to PaloAlto. The FontSet class also changed its category but that doesn't affect stability.
To check whether you have a new font, use Cmd+K (or Alt+K) in a workspace and try out that new font.
If you still have problem, please tell me with a more detailed description. Thanks.
