- Adds file list items for all the attachments of the
selected package to the package list menu, so you can directly file in, view changes, etc. rather than having to go through a FileList.
I'd be really interested in hearing what BFAV users think of this feature. Do you prefer file-services options in the mouse menu, or do you prefer to open a FileList?

I much prefer a direct link. Opening a FileList on several thousand items takes a tediously long time.

This looks great, Ned. The keyboard options are very cool. It might be useful to also have a cmd-a option that popped up just a menu with the file-names and their submenus.
I really like the file-service options in the mouse-menu, now that I've spent some time playing with it.
1 bug:
When I do Cmd-v on a post that doesn't have any attachments, I don't expect to see a FileList open -- but one does.
1 enhancement request:
If I've already decompressed the changeset attachment(s) for a post, it seems like it would be helpful to see the file service options for the decompressed files (I'm thinking in particular of the FileContentsBrowser), instead of the options for the gzipped attachment.
1 design question:
I've tried to avoid putting any UI code in the BugFixArchive-Model package. I'd prefer that ArchivePost >> addAttachmentServicesToMenu: be moved to BugFixArchiveViewer >> addAttachmentServicesToMenu:.

from preamble:
"Change Set: BFAVAttachmentsInMenu-nk Date: 11 July 2003 Author: Ned Konz
This CS does two things for the BugFixArchiveViewer:
* Adds file list items for all the attachments of the selected package to the package list menu, so you can directly file in, view changes, etc. rather than having to go through a FileList.
* Adds command/alt-key handling in the package list: cmd-a view attachments menu cmd-v view attachments in a file list cmd-c copy post title to clipboard cmd-r copy 'In-Reply-To: ' header to clipboard for adding to mail messages
v2: used submenus instead.
v3: per feedback from Brent: - added cmd-a key for opening attachments menu. - re-scan attachments directory after running service - removed UI knowledge from ArchivePost "!

oops, I had marked this for 3.7alpha, but it was originally for VMMaker and was already incorporated. so, it's [closed].

Maybe we should add changet to the upatestream that does a
Smalltalk recreateSpecialObjectsArray
Without this, even a 3.6 vm just crashes if you try to tun the according tests... I will post a changeset with this later.
