Hi all,
Tomorro, I will get an HTC Touch Dual with Windows Mobile 6 and internet connection.
I would like to start to play with Squeak from them, but I don't know, where is the efforts on Squeak for Windows Mobile.
I know some time ago (6 months?) somebody emailed about Squeak on Mobile Devices, and I would like to know if something got some advance on this. The known work did it, is about Squeak 3.0 I think.
Cheers.
on Hylands (www.huv.com; Jon@huv.com) had done some work on mobile devices for HUV applications.
I am personally interested in a rugged and economic ($1,000 - 1,500) mobile platform where Squeak can: o Acquire data from the built-in GPS receiver, and o Read data from a serial port (via Bluetooth)
A bright screen (for daylight use) is a plus.
Cordially,

Well, just find a platform that has a built-in serial GPS, and a virtual serial port over bluetooth. Squeak should just work with that. I use serial ports with Squeak all the time.
Later, Jon
