Hello,
I just downloaded the Squeak software. My goal is to learn to create projects similar to driving the racing car example in the scripts section of Squeak and then teach high school students to create their own projects. I would appreciate if you let me know where to start. Do you think the required skills for writing scripts are beyond the high school students abilities.
Thanks, Behnam.

No, absolutely not! Maybe your first port of call should be to www.squeakland.org where some (IIRC, can never get my head round US grading system) 8 - 10 year olds have been creating projects.
Karl Ramberg and Diego Gomez Deck (amongst others) have both written nice tutorials using scripting and (relatively) simple objects -- there should be pointers to them from the Swiki.
Cheers
John

Hi,
I am having problem regarding opening the squeak tutorials on the squeakland.org web site. I was wondering if anybody might help me. I suppose there should be a plugin that I may download and install.
Thanks in advance, Behnam.
