Here is the new version of publish-subscribe. It is identical to the previous version, with some methods removed, simplified or renamed. Some extraneous testing variables and methods have been taken out.
In short - less fat, better for you :-)
Is there a site I can upload this to - where, how?
I am running it with no problems, but would like to hear of any bugs - particularly with Semaphore deadlocks, or failures in garbage collection....
Peter.

The easiest would have been prefixing your mail with [ENH], then anyone could download it from http://swiki.gsug.org:8080/sqfixes/
Well, I'll do that for you ;-)

When I try "PostOffice start" I get an error about error: having the wrong number of parameters in WeakRegistry>>protected: It's a hard error to find because (a) the error notifier shows up behind all other windows, since it's running in a background thread (restore the display to see the error notifier) and (b) the debugger for some reason doesn't show the backtrace if you choose to debug.
But maybe this is on purpose? I get a similar kind of error dialog when I send #run to the Transcript (playing with variations on Peter's examples).
