Hello!
My name is Scott Gibson and I will be helping with The Weekly Squeak. I started with Squeak (and Smalltalk) in 2008 and thoroughly enjoy the language and environment. I really appreciate all of the hard work that everyone has contributed in maintaining and advancing Squeak. Helping with Squeak news is one way that I will be able to contribute. If you have anything that you would like to share or articles or anything that might be worth having mentioned please let me know and I will get it posted.
Thanks! Scott
HI Scott,
THANK YOU!!!! Looking forward to seeing your articles.
All the best,
Ron Teitelbaum

Hi Ron, Hi Scott, Hi all,
Scott, thank you for adding two new posts to news.squeak.org!
We also talked in the last board meeting about news.squeak.org and I proposed that we could post more or less regular summaries of current activities from squeak-dev (development, announcements, discussions, etc.) there. We could try this for some time and observe how many people are reading the news site today.
Ron, would you create an account to give the board access to the writing new posts and viewing the statistics?
Best, Christoph

Hi Christoph,
Happy to do that. I suggest we create personal accounts for anyone that wants to post.
There are already a number of accounts created. I will send you a list separately.
Let me know who you want added or removed. I can do that for you.
All the best,
Ron Teitelbaum

Christoph,
Glad to help. That would be great information to hear! There is good work and discussions happening and hearing about it would be good.
I personally am looking forward to hearing news about Vanessa's progress with verifying clean 64-bit FFI declarations. :-)
