Hi. Im frequently running into the problem that Squeak got stuck in a deadlock (I can produce nice ones ;) ), the UI simply freezes and the VM grows to about 33% (according to ps) of cpu usage after about one hour (gone, practicing my cast) (for some strange reason memory usage remains at 6.5 percent).
Is it possible to freeze the deadlock task/thread and to start an inspector to debug this situation?
BTW: Usually when I try 'fetch documentation' on some class in the browser the ui freezes as described above... the whole thing is a 2.4 image and VM on a Debian GNU/Linux 2.1 with kernel 2.0.37 i386 box.
Regards, Mark

Use <alt>. (the Alt key and the period key simultaneously) to do this on your Debian system.
