Bolot, I've seen this problem too. It also happens if you try to move down off the bottom of the instance variable list pane in a debugger (using the keyboard), but it's not the problem that I was having with the browser. See my reply to Jerry Archibald for details.

The problem here becomes evident if you do one of the following in another browser: - add a class that's above the currently selected class (higher in category hierarchy or alphabetically in the same category) - add a method that's above the currently selected one - delete such entities
The MVC System Browser uses indices to keep track of state. But does not do update when things change elsewhere. Thus, the pluggable lists don't change. Which results in things being called old way, but referring to other things (by index).
A short-term solution is to open a menu in the category pane and do update.

I assume you're talking about 2.6. Right? (For once I'm up to date).
What is your platform? The Browser in MVC seems to be running okay for me on Windows'95.
Do you have a specific test that will demonstrate the problem? I would be glad to run it in my environment to try and isolate whether this is a platform specific bug.
