A new version of Squeak for NeXTSTEP 3.3 is available.
Please check http://www.imaginet.fr/~pjb/develop/squeak/english/ for downloading instructions and the README file (release notes).
The source-only archive can be found at: ftp://ftp.afaa.asso.fr/users/pascal/squeak-2.0-0.3d91.s.tar.gz and the source plus quad-fat application plus quad-fat headless executable are in: ftp://ftp.afaa.asso.fr/users/pascal/squeak-2.0-0.3d91.NIHS.bs.tar.gz
They'll be available soon on ftp.peanuts.org too.
The next version will be 1.0, will integrate VM-2.2, and will be the last version for NEXTSTEP 3.3 I'll work on (I'm upgrading to OPENSTEP 4.2).
As an aside, the gzip format is a more common format than StuffIt sea. I would vote to use gzip for all portable files such as images and sources. Macintosh guys can find MacGZIP here: http://www.wiu.edu/users/xwww/ecn/software/mac/macgzip.html ftp://ftp.ecn.bgu.edu/pub/micro/mac/helpers/MacGzip.sea.hqx
I've compressed these files: Squeak/unix/2.0/image/Squeak2.0.image Squeak/unix/2.0/image/Squeak2.0.changes Squeak/unix/2.1/image/Squeak2.1.image Squeak/unix/2.1/image/Squeak2.1.changes Squeak/unix/image/SqueakV2.sources They can be found at: ftp://ftp.afaa.asso.fr/users/pascal/Squeak/unix/. The owner of ftp://st.cs.uiuc.edu/pub/Smalltalk/Squeak may want to transfer the gziped files back to st.cs.uiuc.edu along with uncompressed originals.
