This is a meta-comment, but could you guys please refrain from writing many emails in a row on the same topic, just to comment on different paragraphs?
People who is participating to this discussion should have had enough time to gather certain ideas, so instead of replying to paragraph by paragraph (that in theory results in exponential increse of traffic), writing up a coherent story might help.

Yes, usually I attempt to do that as you'll see if you review my postings, although today might have been an exception. However sometimes it is more expedient to have a quick reply. The problem with the longer replies is that sometimes people don't comment on them at all and you never get any feedback regarding their contents.
I guess it's a balance like most things in life.
