This appears to be a really nice tutorial book about Javascript programming, including a "console" and active content right in the book.

Sorry, this is really off-topic, but I have been playing with Javascript for a while (http://home.roadrunner.com/~thefaughts/croquetscape/canvascape.html) and now I'm starting to look at it more seriously, partly because of Clamato and the Lively Kernel, and partly because I'm interested in doing some Functional Programming, which this book covers. Although it's not a "pure" FP language, I hope to get some mileage (or kilometerage?) out of Javascript in that regard. I have played with Clean enough to be dangerous, so I have an idea of the syntactical differences.
Enjoy! Dave
