getting an image file to work

I have a squeak VM that apparently works. When I click on squeak.exe it opens a window with all kinds of windows with titles like welcome to squeak 4.3, future directions, etc. I also have an image file called mediatools-v6.image. I thought that I just had to drag and drop this image file to the squeak.exe file and it would open and run the mediatools program, however when I do this I get the same window with all the other windows mentioned above inside it and I get an error message saying there is no content to install. In this dialog box there are lots of other commands (at least that's what they look like). I guess a sort of log of what squeak was doing. Can anyone help me out? I'm totally new to squeak. I was just trying to use the mediatools thing that was mentioned in a book. Thanks in advance John

Altitude - a simple directory list app

I've taken a crack at creating an app that lists the contents of a directory as links. Hit a link and it downloads the file in the package-cache. Does ALDigestLocator want a #resources getter? Is this bad design? I have no idea. I'm posting this to squeak-dev, pharo dev, and esug, but it'd be great to keep discussion in one place, like the esug list, or even better, the issue link below if appropriate... At ESUG, Martin Kobetic, Dale Henrich, and I worked on some key pieces to port and maintain cross-platform projects via github. By adapting Filetree to convert between VW namespaces and class name prefixes, we: 1. loaded Xtreams from squeaksource 2. via a Filetree repo, pushed it to github in a directory structure identical to that of the VW branch 3. again via Filetree, loaded the pushed version into another Pharo image, where all the tests passed. This is an initial proof-of-concept (some things are hard-coded, conditional halts left as sanity checks, etc.), but it shows that it is possible.
