Attending: Chris Muller, Bert Freudenberg, Colin Putney, Levente Uzonyi, Jecel Assumpacao Jr., Chris Cunnington -SOB members going to ESUG next month: Bert Freudenberg; Chris Cunnington -A review of how Squeak works with the Software Freedom Conservancy. Now that the issue of the new license is in the past, annual routines with the SFC ought to be outlined -The SOB is enthusiastic about the work Casey Ransberger is leading to create a Hudson server for the trunk image -The direction of virtual machine development was discussed. This encompassed several issues and will need to be explore in future meetings: when the standard release of Squeak will include the Cog VM; a single VM can now run a range of image types; the Linux distribution of the VM seems to be slightly more problematic than the other two standard operating systems for distribution -An Agenda Item For The Next Meeting: Spoon.

Documentation idea

I've been studying the Morphic classes, and today I had an idea on how to document them. See the following changeset. Here's an example of how it might be used: SystemWindow collaborators do: [:each | HierarchyBrowserWindow onClass: each selector: nil] This is obviously just a start. If I expand the notes, do you think it would be useful to distribute them? If so, what would be a good way to package them? As a first milestone, I'd like this documentation to be self-hosting. I.e., given the CRC cards for an image, a programmer of normal intelligence and determination could extend the image with a morph that displayed the cards. Mac VM hanging

Hi, I've been using the all-in-one 4.2 Squeak and can't figure out why the VM is hanging. I have some code that runs fine for about six minutes, but if I wrap it in a MessageTally spyOn: [], then the VM will hang after a while (typically 30 to 90 seconds). CMD-period does not wake it up. According to the activity monitor, cpu remains right around 100% and real memory at around 180 meg. Activity Monitor sampling output attached below. Any suggestions? status of PostgresV3 package

hi all i would like to know the status of the proyect "A client for PostgreSQL using the V3 protocol" i donwnloaded from squeaksource this proyect but the few tests that contain the downloaded project don't help me to understand the use of the framework any help would be appreciated best mdc

Deleting mistaken uploads?

Hi, It's possible I'm simply not seeing the obvious, but as the admin of a project, how can I delete mczs? For instance, if I upload an mcz to the wrong repository, I'd like to be able to remove it, but I can't see how to. frank
