[ENH] addHorzScrollbar

from preamble: "Change Set: scrollport Date: 28 December 2002 Author: Steven Swerling I was adding a horizontal scrollbar to the SimpleHierarchicalListMorph, but realized that many of the methods would be generic to any subclass of ScrollPane. And there were many methods. So I moved the changes up to ScrollPane. This changeset adds a horizontal scrollbar to ScrollPane, which appears as needed. I don't know if there is any demand for this, so I'm just running it up the flagpole. WARNING: The last thing you need is for a bug in ScrollPane. I don't know of any in this code, but better safe then sorry. So consider this a beta. Please tinker around with your applications to make sure everything is working ok before saving your image. Tested on a fresh 3.4 image w/ updates up to #5138. "!

[ENH][Refactor] PLMCleanUpStart

"Change Set: PLMCleanUpStart Date: 9 August 2003 Author: Daniel Vainsencher This changeset adds comments for all PLM subclasses. Also removes the assumption of uniform height in PluggableListMorph (not yet in subclasses), and refactors the morph generation. Might slow list update down a bit. Factors out the StringMorph creation and initialization logic to simplify the methods and reduce duplication. The goal is to introduce the ability to accept items other than String/Text/MethodReference, and display them as morphs other than StringMorphs. Patches/advice about how to handle PLM variants welcome."!

This is precise. Note that an old refactoring I submitted a couple of months ago would clean up a bit of garbage in PluggableListMorphs, make them more flexible, and incidentally includes Diegos improvement. [BUG] StringMorph

If I open the context menu for any StringMorph and choose option `change emphasis' ==> Afterwards if I choose option `plain' I obtain error message "MessageNotUnderstood: plain" The same applies for all its subclasses (such as ClockMorph) I tried to figure out the problem and the enclosed change-set is a quick hack solving the problem. [BUG]FileUrl>toText returns String

[Bug] TextMorph 'text color...' interface 'cancel' button doesn't work

Tested in both 5156 and 5169 updated images. In both cases grab a TextMorph, choose 'text color...' from the halo menu, play around with the text changing whatever you like and then choose 'cancel'. The result varies from 5156 to 5169. In 5156 the text is neither unchanged nor changed to exactly what you changed in the interface. In 5169 all changes are applied and 'cancel' is equivalent to 'accept'. Ken Causey

[BUG]FileList2 postOpen shows symptom of poor #changed: api

when looking at the FileList2>postOpen method I was upset to see the very ugly generation of the parameter to the #changed: message. I believe I swore something about people not knowing about #changed:with:. Then I checked and discovered that Squeak is lacking this protocol. I suspect that a number of places would benefit from it. Anthony, Try compiling the following method in any class: foo 1 = 1 ifTrue: [2] I get the error 'positive if jumps only'. Now, don't ask *why* someone would write such a method (anything you do to make it useful gets rid of the error) but this is a minimal example of an actual method in Comanche that has the same problem, so I thought I'd point it out.
