Andreas chose not to run for the board, to have more time for other things important to him. Leaving a seat empty serves no one.

I am looking forward to more nominations. There is still time, and they tend to show up towards the end of the nomination period.

Putting yourself into our community's spotlight by stepping up for the board election isn't an easy decision at all. But I'm actually encouraged by the community's response to this grave loss. And maybe you are encouraged, too.
