A long term project of mine is to create an coding environment to develop in Squeak smalltalk via Emacs and LSP

the StdioListener looks like a good starting point as does refamiliarizing myself with the guts of the vm/build process (I have been out of the loop for some years due to other work)

I have cloned the git tree at https://github.com/OpenSmalltalk/opensmalltalk-vm/tree/Cog

For the in-image code, I prefer to limit myself to the 'cutting edge' of Cog and Spur without adding clutter.

Do I want to install the update.oscog ? or some other combination of packages?
